Preschool Scholarship Application

We believe that early education is a vital step in the development and future success of a child. Childcare is a costly and challenging hurdle to overcome especially for low-income families.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ranked the US 35th out of 40 in addressing childhood poverty problems, while within the US one in five children live below the poverty line. As this is a strong indicator of children’s life trajectories, this is a problem that needs attention. Unfortunately, childhood poverty often leads to toxic stress, anxiety and depression and often followed by grade retention, early school dropouts, teen pregnancies, and an increased risk of incarceration.

We believe that preschool provides the foundation to help all children have the highest chance for success.
