It only costs $25 to provide all the services for a Maasai woman to have a baby safely in the rural Maasai Mara area of Kenya at the clinic run by African Mission Services. AMS’s mission is to assist rural, underdeveloped communities within Africa to improve their quality of life physically, mentally and morally while providing short-term volunteers with hands-on experience in humanitarian service. AMS works extensively with local Maasai leadership to improve educational opportunities for children, offer medical services for rural villagers and provide community households with clean drinking water.
